MAINTENANCE SERVICES
ATA prides itself on its after sales care for both clients and systems. ATA offers Three Separate Maintenance Options. Certified companies such as ATA are required to have a support service in place, especially for Intruder and Fire Alarm Systems.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Routine Maintenance call out service is only available to clients who have a current maintenance agreement in place. All visits take place during normal working hours, 9-5pm, Mon-Fri and are pre-arranged with the company. Information on how to contact our service personnel is given directly to the client at the time of installation.

After hours support call out service is only available to clients who have a current maintenance agreement in place
(Opt 1, 2, or 3).

Information on how a client should respond is given directly to the client during installation. They will also receive a special ID to use for identity purposes during that time.


ALARM RECEIVING CENTRE
In Ireland, Alarm receiving centres are required to comply with IS.228 Irish Standard for monitoring centres.

A Monitoring Centre is a specially constructed unit which is manned 24 hours a day and incorporates appropriate computer based receivers to which alarm systems can transmit their data via either telephone network or/and radio.

Monitoring Centres monitor a variety of systems in addition to alarms e.g. Closed Circuit TV, Access Control, Entry/Exit. They can also operate systems remotely. ATA can provide two way communications between the Keypad and the Monitoring Centre, in fact ATA Security Systems can be programmed to switch on and off at various times and dates.

ATA also provides hardware which allows the user to communicate directly with their system from a digital telephone system anywhere in the world.

The monitoring centre staff adhere to Garda policy and proceedures that requires contacting the keyholder in the event of an alarm activation. The Gardai are contacted only when the system confirms a genuine activation.

ATA provide separate documents on how proceedures operate. In relation to other services such as Fire, CCTV, Access Control, proceedural standards are followed which can be changed or modified to suit your need.

MAINTENANCE
OPTIONS
OPTION 1
Basic

Preventative/Support Maintenance

Provides the basic essentials and includes routine visits during the life of the contract to check and test.

Visits are scheduled during normal working hours. It does not include Act of God, Operator Error or Negligence.

An emergency support service is also available 365 days a year for option 1, subject to a call out and repairs fee. It does not include Act of God, Operator Error or Negligence.

OPTION 2

Support & Maintenance
 
In addition to providing the basic essentials - Option 1. This service includes breakdown calls and repairs resulting from normal wear and tear to the system are carried out during normal working hours 9am-5pm Mon - Fri. without any additional charge.

It does not include Act of God, Operator Error or Negligence. Calls outside normal working hours and systems found to be damaged by causes apart from normal wear and tear are subject to a fee.

In addition to Option 1 the equipment warranty is extended from its normal 12 month period to 24 month period from the date of installation. i.e equipment which is found to be defective because of normal wear and tear is replaced free of charge during the times specified above.

Emergency support after hour service is available, subject to a standard charge.
OPTION 3
Comprehensive

This service includes routine maintenance visits throughout the life of the agreement. It covers call outs due to normal wear and tear at any time day or night.

It does not include Act of God, Operator Error or Negligence. Equipment Warranty on Intruder Alarm Systems is extended from 12 months to 24 months and ATA Security reserve the right to negotiate the agreement on an annual basis.
