ATA Security Ltd., strives to set the standards. Our founder and Managing Director, Paul Flanagan     first entered the security industry in 1966. Since that time he has always been driven by the desire for excellence.

1968 saw the formation of Abel Alarms (Ireland) Ltd, a partnership. Under Paul's management this company became a household name for intruder alarm systems in Ireland. In January 1984 Paul left the partnership and founded ATA Security Ltd, which expanded rapidly under his direction, to become, in just a few years, one of Ireland's premier security companies

With almost 40 years in the security industry Paul has devoted himself to the principle of high standards in his chosen profession. As far back as 1969, when the security industry in Ireland was in it's infancy he brought together other like minded companies which led to the formation of the Irish Security Industry Association in February 1972.
